By Muhammed Sher: Ollie Smith continues to build his squad ahead of the 2012-2013 with a number of last year’s group heading to pastures new.
Canadian international Phil Mackenzie has opted to join Championship winners London Welsh with fly-half Mark Atkinson also remaining in the second-tier of English rugby after joining Bedford Blues.
Perry-John Parker has, as previously reported, moved north to Edinburgh on a two-year deal with the Scottish outfit.
Jamie Mackenzie has also left the club.
“All the players moving on do so with our best wishes and I’m sure that they will be great assets to their new clubs,” said boss Smith.
“Professional rugby is tough and uncompromising, both on and off the field, and player movement is now part and parcel of our sport.”
