Servicemen and women rewarded with a night at The Twickenham Stoop
Harlequins, in association with add-victor, are pleased to announce that they have offered 250 match tickets for this Friday’s game against London Welsh to those servicemen and women who worked at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The contributions of the military personnel helped to ensure that the home Olympic and Paralympic Games were a global success and Harlequins are pleased to recognise their involvement.
Harlequins Chief Executive, David Ellis commented: “We are delighted that we are able to welcome 250 members of the Army, Royal Navy and Joint Air Maritime Command to Friday night’s match. They did so much during the Olympic Games and this is our way of showing our appreciation.
“As it is our first home game of the season there will be a great buzz around the Stoop and we’re really happy that they can be a part of that and share it with us.”
Steve White Cooper from add-victor, added: “As a former Harlequin player and now co-founder of add-victor, it is super exciting to act as the link between the club and the Armed Forces."
The match will be the Aviva Premiership champions’ first home match of the season as they aim to retain their title. Kick off is at 7:45pm.
