Goode and Saull sign new deals with Sarries

Saracens is pleased to announce the club has agreed new three-year contracts with Alex Goode and Andy Saull.

“We are working hard to build something special at this club, on and off the field,” said Brendan Venter, Director of Rugby, “and stability is crucial. These long term contracts, and others to be announced in the coming days and weeks, are fantastic for the club – they are like giant stakes in the ground, underpinning our future.

“Alex and Andy are two exceptionally talented and determined young players, who arrived in our Academy as exciting prospects and have developed into respected Premiership players. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that both have the potential to play for England.”

Goode said: “There is a great sense of stability at the club and we also have a fantastic squad. Everything about Saracens is geared up for success and I want to be part of that.”

Saull added: “Anyone who has visited our training ground in St Albans this season would have experienced the atmosphere and collective spirit among the players, coaches and staff. This is a very special place to be, and that made it a very easy decision.”
