Dear me, that could have been beautiful. Shouldn't have tried the fend, you're right, though I think he might have got it down without the support player trying to grab it off him.

Lovely step on the fullback nonetheless.

Not a bad thing, given that Sinclair couldn't get an academy contract with either of the pro-district teams - good luck to the lad in Perpignan, seems like a self-starter too

Whilst I'm glad that these boys are getting great opportunities abroad, the SRU need to seriously look at a 3rd Pro team in the North East made up of older journeymen and under 21 Scottish talent.

I'm still gutted we couldn't keep Bennet and dont want the same thing to happen next season as eventually we'll run out of French benefactors and they'll have nowhere to go except their local gym.

First things first, ed and glasgow need to get their average gate past the 10k mark and become self sustaining, then and only then can a 3rd team be created

Don't be surprised to see some of the Scottish boys from the championship join the Zebras.

I've heard they were sniffing around guys like Nimmo (now at Dragons) and David Young.

I have thought for a long time a 3rd pro team could be 1/2 finacied by the Italians

They provide 1/2 the coaches, 1/2 the players and we pay for the venue and half the staff

Both the SRU and IRFU could do with a 3rd team but neither can afford it out right

2nd row of Gray and McKenzie for Sale, with Vernon on the bench. Brown starts for Saracens, Southwell for Wasps, Grove for Worcester, and Cuthbert and McMillan bench for Bath.

Is that it? - not too sure who's where now. Any exiles in the Rabid? - apart from Parks, who's not in the Connacht squad.

Strokosch in the 26-man squad for Clermont.
