ok Hamlet Cup fixtures done, starting week 3 to give everyone time to log in and accept.

please go to My Club -> Friendlies -> Hamlet Cup and click "accept" on all

same rules every year, 6N scoring system as opposed to S15 (i.e. no bonus points). this year there's 2 Divs of 5 teams each, during the bye week you play the team from the other div who also has a bye - this game does not count for HC standings, it's just a friendly. and the Div 2 team gets home ground advantage each time.

updates through the season on the usual website, links will be posted here when updated.

As I'm a struggler in DivIII, I can't afford to lose the energy unfortunately.
How close to selling out are you on home games. Maybe your stadium is too small

Things are a bit tight for me at the moment too Carts. My winnings from last season soon went on stadium modifications and a few signings (including an absolute lemon!). The players I sold went for peanuts in comparison. Gonna have to sell/fire a few more in order to reduce the weekly salaries a little bit. I don't mind making a little loss on away weeks as long as I can post a profit on home games. I'm hoping my stadium changes result in a better return than i'm currently seeing...if not, my survival on Blackout Rugby will depend on end of season winnings!

Near sellout everytime, no money to upgrade.

Win your league and you get a hefty whack, I get peanuts in DivIII, I should have thrown the play off thinking on it.

I was in the same predicament awhile ago too, you need to expand your stadium and chuck a singular seat in the standing section, I've got more money than I know what to do with now.

This is why i'm better off in Div IV for a couple more seasons. If all goes well this season, i'll expand my stadium by about a thousand following my current model with no standings and that should help to boost my income. Although I have to wait another week till my recent modifications complete before I know if it'll be successful. I'm fairly happy with my squad for now so may not need to get any signings for a while. Whilst they may not be outstanding players, I have 10 players under the age of 20 (another 15 under 25) so they will get better with the right training. Just need to get rid of a couple of lemons...one of whom has dropped over 1000 CSR this week!

Aye. 26,769 CSR when I bought him. He's 33 years old but I thought he would be ok for a couple of seasons. I thought he was a real bargain at $4000 but I didn't read the small print and he's dropping big time. He's still a reasonably good player (performs at 5 stars) so i'll just make the most of him till his contract expires and ship him on or sack him.
