Default Tom Prydie

This weekend will have started more games for Wales than the Ospreys

What happened to the other guy who was called up to the Six Nations squad? The one with the fantastic pace. Is he back in the U20s squad?

Kristan Phillips. I believe so, I forget. Interestingly I think I read Gatland say Prydie was faster, though it hasn't looked like that in the brief appearances I have seen by either.

I have to wonder if the Ospreys signing Ross Davies is an indication they see Prydie's future on the wing and, if so, where that leaves Kristan Phillips.

Prydie is really fast, I saw him play at schoolboy level and he did stand out, saying that I wouldn't say he was ready for the Blacks!

He turned up at Porthcawl RFC last week for the U11's presentation, which went down well (Grandson got most improved player!)

That's the one.

I was flipping through an article on Prydie and Phillips in Rugby World the other day and they said Prydie has a best time of 10.59 over 100m. That's extremely quick for a rugby player.

If only we had a few more of his age ready to step up to the mark with such assurance, where are they ?

ahhh, now we see why gats is so keen to fast track him (and being 6ft 3 helps). i knew he said he was quick but feck me that's lightning. at that sort of time accelartion must be fast too, rather than some rugby players who's top speed may be quick but who take too long getting there.

shocked at that though, if i hadn't already heard gatland say it I would swear phillips was faster

RTL... did he look 6'3" or is this just more randomly selected sizes by rugby teams?
