Default Toulon thread.

One of the reasons that made me pointing my nose again around here, along with the pleasure from the birth of the Barbarians board, the nice support from some french and other posters, is Toulon.

So it's not without a certain pleasure that I'm opening this thread and celebrate Mont de MArsan defeat and Toulon's victory that put them ahead with 8 points

Now did you know guys that Botha and Matfield were gonna play together soon in Toulon ?

yep, that's what we were talking about the other day.
The Bulls don't want to liberate him and he have a contract
until 2011!
It will cost a lot of money for Toulon to get him!!

If the French bulletins were right Bakkies would already be enjoying some of the fine ladies at le cote d'azur. He's still in Pretoria though, just back from Russia where SA won the award for sports team of 2007.

And I would not put my bet on any things published until certainty is there. The SA press now also have gone the French way cause that story from super sport that John Smit was to return this month from Montferrand is complete bull**** as well.

My advice: don't believe anything until the own team or own player confirms.

Coming up with early statements which turn out to be incorrect eg. the announcement of Habana and Olivier joining Toulon and that Bakkies had already signed a contract.

Sorry, Bayonne. Not a strange mistake to make btw...

I read something like "Olivier has already signed and Habana is very far in negotiations" in French. Don't know what the magazin was, but it was in two or three of them. Habana was even thinking about judiciary actions cause he was shocked and his name went through dirt.
