Default FAO Quins fans...

Tomas Vallejos... what should we be expecting at Parc Y Scarlets next season?

Hes a very good lineout man. You need one of those? Been on the bench for arg this series.

Our second rows have been average at best for quite some time... but we have pretty much none left!

Dom Day has gone to Bath, Lou Reed has gone to Cardiff and Damien Welch has gone to Exeter.

So far we have George Earle (saffa lock who I'd never heard of) and Vallejos. Other than that, we have Tongan international Timani and Shingler can play there at a push.

So yes, we need pretty much every type of lock!

My personal preference would have been more of an "enforcer" type player...

That's not vallejos I'm afraid. Good hands though. Timani looks handy too, I can see them fitting scarlets when in running mode. Just blindly pin all your hopes on a nutter south African enforcer, that's my advice.

He's almost like another flanker. He is a great stealer of l/o's, one of the best in the AP last couple of seasons, imo. He's a good player, but he does lack a little grunt - works hard and punches above his weight, though. Tough as old boots.

Not with this signing I'm afraid. Very good around the park, good in the lineout and solid in rucks, but he's not a heavyweight by any stretch of the imagination and Quins scrum always suffered when he covered Kohn (admittedly lots of players would struggle to cover Kohn in the scrum).

Athletic and a good lineout stealer. Will give his all but wasn't a starter for us and I doubt he will be for you.

He is a great signing though and I am genuinely sad he is leaving us.
