What's the reasoning behind playing Hook at 10? All I can see is lateral running, wasting space for our backline, turnovers, intercept passes, with one solo try that blinds his apologists to all that's wrong with his game at 10. Perhaps I'm wrong but I think Priestland is a miles better 10, even with the odd fuk up.

You'll have to go back a fair few years to find the last time I called for Hook at 10 for either Wales or even the Ospreys. hook's a great talent but he has to do a hell of a lot of convincing to convert me to the idea of him at 10, or anywhere else for Wales other than bench at the moment.

And all I can see with Priestland (at least on this tour) is kicking the ball to the Aussie back three every single time he gets his hands on it.

Who knows what they're been instructed to do? Perhaps Hook can execute it better. Or simply ignore it.
