Not immediately, as I wouldn't break up a winning side. However, he'd certainly be first name on the midweek teamsheet and would be first man on the bench. If he shows that he can transfer his Toulon form to international, then I probably would, yes.

If you mean that am English club should make a concerted effort to sign him, them fair enough, but I think that any English club who needs Armitage in their squad who approach him when available anyway. Whether the opportunity would be attractive enough for him remains to be seen. I suspect he went to France because the opportunities in England at the time weren't.
You have done once already.

Who?

Morgan? Palmer?

Both moving to English clubs next season. No problem with that.

Isn't it obvious? For this very situation? It's like we are shooting ourselves in the foot or some thing.

You guys should remember that the armitage guys have been raised in France, in the south east, just one another from Toulon, in Nice...
no one can dismiss that as a reason for them to go back to their childhood and teenage lifes..

Based on what I saw before he moved, he was not international class, IMO. I'm happy to accept that he has dramatically improved if it is so.
What does International class mean? He's been England's best openside for at least 3 years.

They weren't raised in France, they were there for a few years. Steffon was back in England when he was 14.

You're obviously forgetting The Hask.

Err... I thought the overseas rule was dumped with Steele? Surely any player with releases written into their contract would be eligible - does Steffon? If not, would the RFU start paying the extra it would take to get it in there? Previously, no chance, now, I don't know.
