Well done Spain.

Amazing after all those years of underachievement that they've now nailed 3 big tournaments in a row. Lionel Messi is a great player but it can't be that difficult playing alongside those guys.

Spain came good because they realised their failings and built a system to play to their characteristic strengths. Their teams from u7s up all play the same football and watching their u17s can be a joy. England need to do the same.

Identify the strong characteristics in an English footballer and nurture it in all to build a cohesive team throughout the age-groups. So get them all shagging grannies before slipping out back with a team-mates wag and getting into night club brawls. Sorted.
