So they do, thanks.

So it's really only the Force who don't have good historical/regional reasons for wearing blue then. It is a mildly interesting phenomenon, the dominance of blue in rugby jersey land. You don't see as much green as you might expect. And I don't think any teams play in brown, which is a very now colour. Saves on laundry too, but maybe too hard to pick up a team-mate on a muddy pitch?

stormers wear blue? there you go i've learnt something today, always thought it was black.

anyway the Rebels jersey looks a bit ordinary, stars in a straight line are pretty dull, i think they are trying to link with the eureka stockade flag but without being too obvious because of all the subsequent political baggage that comes with it. underwhelming is a good description.

Definetly better without the trackie bottoms. If those Stars stay there,
any sponsors logo is going to be at stomach level , not a good look
in the front row

Here's an explanation for the stars:

Quote:
The Melbourne Rebels have revealed their new jersey, and to say it looks strange is an understatement. The highlight of the blue jumper are five stars running down its front, making it appear a bit like one of those fake tuxedo T-shirts you can buy in a $2 shop. The explanation is that the five stars represent a pledge made by everyone at the club. The five-star pledge revolves around respect, excellence, balance, ethos and leadership. Wonder what will happen if any Rebels player is involved in an off-field atrocity? Do they get all the stars ripped off their jersey? And do they get a big, big star if they win a game?

Sounds like a bunch of arse.

that's a bit better
what a ridiculous release that other pic was then

How will the melbournites cope with the shorts being that over sized though?

Shouldn't they have targeted their locals a bit better with a fit more like this?
