That's pretty much wharf happened to me too but for some reason in Perth leisure pool you had yo be able yo swim before you could get lessons.

My parents combined teaching me to swim with weightlifting and problem solving.

I assume thats what they were doing throwing me in the river in a sack full of rocks.
