You might want to email that to Declan.

"People forget that rugby is not the exclusive domain of white, anglo-saxon, protestant, male, middle-aged, middle-class, barbour-wearing, prog rock-listening, real ale drinkers who are still living in the third quarter of the last century."

A wonderful bunch - I'd be happy if rugby was supported by this lot for the rest of time.

That's a great deal. Tigers are renegotiating their deal with Cat at the moment I hope we get something even bigger.

For all our tribulations on tour to NZ we did actually try to play some rugby. Might have been an idea if he'd tried it two years before.

Not really cutting edge is it.

Clubs have been naming stands for yonks, Barclaycard stand at Northampton, Eithiad stand at Quins, McAfee at Sale, Pileofcrap Stand at Bath.

This is just the next logical extension.

Good deal for Sarries though.

I meant the shirt but it wouldn't surprise me. I once heard that we prefer selling the stands as obviously there are more of them and people generally don't use corporate names for old grounds, but the Cat stand has never been anything other than the Cat stand. Something about a "clean brand" when selling the space for other uses as well.

The next step is to pay for advertising space on the players. I could imagine Chris Ashton having 'Danish Bacon' branded across his forehead.
