Good, thanks, hope he goes all the way with the sharks...

He's gonna play for Toulon after that.

So happy the Sharks got there in the end but wasn't Brussouw a thorn in their side - more evidence me thinks that Brussouw really needs to be in the Springbok frame without a doubt.

Once again Keegan Daniels and Kankowski and Coetzee standing tall for the Sharks and not to mention JP Pietersen playing some of the best rugby of his life.

Such a pity that we have to go to Brisbane without Frans Steyn and Lambie - truly big losses - somewhat mitigated perhaps by Quade Cooper ruling himself out of the game.

If ever it was a question of which Sharks team will show up - this will be it . I feel if they will play as well as they are capable then they could have the beating of the Reds ( especially without the Cooper/Genia magic going on) but it will be a very close affair. The Reds are clearly peaking and the Sharks need to replicate the Bulls game but the big challenge is to do it away from home this time which could prove their undoing. I give them a 50/50 chance of doing it.

However if the Bulls with all their scrum-time troubles can overcome the Crusaders away from home I will be very surprised indeed. I personally expect the Crusaders to overwhelm the Bulls . It just feels like they have got a whiff of the title now and nothing is going to be able stop them.
I see them (The Crusaders) as red hot favourites at the moment to win the whole thing with the Stormers and Chiefs in with a shout. I think the Sharks with only away games to look forward to are going to be found wanting at some point ( but hopefully not)

Well this is why I like the Sharks so much ( Despite having any geographical or cultural link to them at all) - I just love their style of play.

Out of all the South African sides I think they have played the most attractive style of rugby this season and when they are at full tilt they are a pleasure to watch. What a pity Meyer Bosman stumbled a few inches from the line - that would have been an amazing try !!!

There is no doubt they deserved to win this game despite the Reds non-try and whatever else the home team could find to complain about - it was clear from the very beginning that the Sharks had gone to Brisbane to win.

If only Frans Steyn and Lambie were in the mix they would be an even more potent as a team but surely all this travel is going to start to impact them from now on.

Having watched the Bulls game prior to the Sharks - Red game I really needed some cheering up as I thought the Bulls were simply awfull (Not to mention the Crusaders pretty sublime )

I think the Bulls performance may be a blessing in disguise as surely now there will be mass civil disobediance in the Republic if Heyneke Meyer does not tone down the Bulls contingent in the Springbok squad. I saw about 3 - 4 Bulls at best coming anywhere near Springbok level on Saturday and that would be Hougard , Spies , Kruger and Potgieter - the rest were dismal.

The Sharks team on the other hand have potential all over them - I reckon the whole pack must be close for Springbok first choice selection - Kankowski , Daniels , Coetzee , Alberts , Du Plessis brothers , Beast - who could leave them out of a Springbok team at the moment ?

J P Pietersen is a must for the Bok team and Mc Cloud must be putting pressure on the Bok Bench now surely ? With Lambie and Frans Steyn on the side lines to my mind we should have a Springbok team consisting mainly of Sharks !

At the moment Lambie surely must have the inside track on the Bok Flyhalf position with Grant as back up - Morne Steyn needs to get his mojo back and at present should not be given the Bok flyhalf job plain and simple.

I look forward to the Sharks , Stormers game and expect it to be a real contest. There is plenty class in the Stormers side and with all the travel and fatigue factor that must be starting to impact the Sharks it will take a lot for them to overcome the Stormers and even more to go back to NZ and beat one of those 2 sides @ home - surely not going to happen but still the Sharks in my view have proven their class .

Well done on your team Chris. The Sharks were really brilliant. I think they will now go on and win the whole thing (if they play like they did on Sat of course)

The Bulls....I have not been so pi**ed off by my team in a very long time. They were lacklustre and made very basic errors. The thing is...they could have beaten the Crusaders who were not that good either on the day.

Spies- worst game I have seen him play in a long time.
Hougaard- Why so slow at the breakdown??? He showed he could speed service up from the base of the rucks in a few previous games this season, but lost countless turn overs because there were no one to secure the ball when coming out of rucks.
Steyn- too many kicking errors

I cannot think of anyone bar Dewald Potgieter in the Bulls team that impressed me on Sat. Not good enough.
The Bulls did well to make the play offs, after losing so many senior players yes, but I wish they at least put up a fight on Sat.

Yes indeed - I think we all at least expected the Bok laden Bulls team to put up a better show than that.

To be honest I did not notice Dewalt Potgieter and havent all season. I at least saw Hougaard trying to play with some purpose , and saw Spies catching well in the lineouts and catching some kicks - but nothing good enough to get him ahead of the Sharks loosies.

The Bulls were unable to create any intensity at all - and in the end gave the Crusaders an easy game. In fact the Crusaders can feel a little agrieved and short of meaningfull match practice after that !

I suppose it would be unfair to judge the Bulls season soley on that game and they do deserve huge credit for getting this far in the season. What frustrates me about the Bulls is that they have proven all the critics correct who say that they do not have a plan B when plan A fails. They showed no flair and no ability to regroup and try something different. They seem to lack confidence that they can take on the best with ball in hand and win.

I am sure they will bounce back but they really do need a broader approach other than kick and chase. They perhaps at the moment do not have the players to play any other way so should use the rest of season having a think about it.

They're in the final now Tigs, didn't see the game but according to the match reports Michalak had a big influence, likes a drop-goal or two these days.

Tall order to beat the Chiefs in NZ of course, but anything is possible.

He was good at directing the Sharks attack, didn't kick from hand particularly well and was carried by his team mates on defence.

Who'd uh thunk it?
