The Hayman call was appalling so I guess it was poetic justice that Yach won it when he probably should have been binned.

Now, where's that prediction...

I'll sleep on the prediction was very sure it was loinster by 10 after the semi's but not so sure now.
Morris is absolutely unlistenable. Re-definies the meaning of whiny

Robson seems like a complete dullard but at least he's enthusiastic enough to be dumb in a somewhat endearing, if still obnoxious, way.

His "who cares what I think" comment at the end said it all, we should but ultimately he was correct, he's pointless and irrelevant

Jonny v. Freddy

Will Michalak dislodge Wilkinson as first choice/fans' favoutite 10? After the France tour of Argentina he is the man in possession of the french FH shirt, but he will only keep it if he gets ample game time in the position at club level. He can also play 9 but France has some good 9s so if Freddy plays SH at Toulon can he kiss goodbye to the 10 slot in the national team? Hope to see a ding-dong battle for the Toulon 10 shirt this season.

I think they will alternate, Wilko played far too much rugby last season and only looked at his best for half of the time.

I didn't realise Top 14 was starting today, I missed Sheridan's debut apparently he had a huge game and dismantled Perpignan's tighthead Mas.

Freddie will play 10, and yes they are supposed to alternate, toulon want to compete on the national and european front and you can't do it if you don't double every post with international quality.

Toulon have been impressive imo against perpignan, they didn't do a lot but never looked like losing, they looked far more powerful up front and Sheridan has been very good at scrums. He did get the better over Mas for a few times, but I think Mas won some scrums too...

It's clear that with sheridan and jenkins Toulon have well invested in the scrum that costed them the title last year.
