Default Gatorade Game Changer of the Season Award

THREE AVIVA Premiership Rugby players who have made a big impact in the 2011-12 season have been shortlisted for the Gatorade Game Changer of the Season award.

Quote:
Sale Sharks duo Andy Powell and Rob Miller are joined by Exeter Chiefs' wing Gonzalo Camacho in an elite group of players battling for the title at the Aviva Premiership Rugby Awards at The London Hilton, on Park Lane, on 8 May.

Formerly the Gatorade Performance of the Season award, the Game Changer of the Season award rewards the player responsible for the most effective performance each month according to the Opta Index®.

The impressive trio produced statistically the best performances in Aviva Premiership Rugby in the 2011-12 season.

Well if that isn't damaging to the use of statistics, I don't know what is.

I'd like to see this award win the most stupidly named award of the season award.

If Andy Powell is a contender, a stupidly named award is very apt!

It's a real game-changer in the world of stupidly named awards.

How many of you have seen Andy Powell play this season?

Most sale supporters were very apprehensive about his signing. But after watching him play week in week out he has been one, if not THE, outstanding player this season. He is a leader on and off the pitch and we are a lot poorer side when he doesn't play.

Stats do not lie both Miller and Powell have been outstanding this season.

Mind you it is a shock not to see at least 6 Tigers in the top three...maybe the bribe wasn't big enough?
