Default Team for final test?

Same again or many changes:

Hook for Priestland?

Tipuric for Warburton??

Ian Evans on bench?

Rees or Hibbard or Owen to start?

Phillips, Williams or Webb?

Thoughts?

IMO, Evans should be in the 22. I'd go with him and Bradley as starters, to put physical pressure on their tight 5, which lacks grunt.

Rees is your best hooker.

Phillips is your best half-back, but he's trying to do to much himself.

Hook at 10 is mental.

Yes, except Hook for the Priest.

What's the reasoning behind playing Hook at 10? All I can see is lateral running, wasting space for our backline, turnovers, intercept passes, with one solo try that blinds his apologists to all that's wrong with his game at 10. Perhaps I'm wrong but I think Priestland is a miles better 10, even with the odd fuk up.

The last thing we need are changes when there really do not need to be. Bring Evans in at lock to partner AWJ but that's just about it. It has come down to a damage limitation excersize, it's all about the tactics now and little else. Play like we did in the first test and we'll lose, like we did today and it'll be the same outcome.
Pride? What the hell! We've lost the series, just put the throttle down and see what happens.

Tend to agree IMO - like to see us getting the ball out a bit more but then we need a bit more of the ball to do that. The line out needs sorting (again).

They'll probably bring Ianto in for Bradley, stick with Priestland at 10, havn't got a clue what they'll do about hooker, otherwise no change. Whether there's another page to cementball only they know. Personally my observation is the forwards look fecking knackered, half-hearted tackling and unable to find the energy to go up a gear when necessary. The backs looked disinterested in getting involved - maybe because of some kind of strategy thought up by Howley. Next week they all need to raise the physical approach to whatever arcane game plan Howley and co wants them to play.

id debate not changing anything. rees had a good game in the loose but the lineout was a real problem in the first half. we could do with another big carrier in the team so maybe hibbard could potentially be called in?

i wouldnt change the backline, priestland has not been great but he is our best 10 so stick with him and show we have confidence in him to lead us
